Aviation Reference
Reference functions in Vista provide continuous data on spatial relationships between your current position and other geographic points. These points can be airports, radio navigation aids, or even mountains. Vista contains two reference functions: a general purpose reference function useful for all types of points, and an aviation specific reference function which uses data from Flitesoft (a flight planning program from RMS).

The Aviation Reference function uses VOR, airport, NDB, and route data to provide real-time position information in a user-designed window. It can be sized and positioned wherever desired, contains exactly the information you wish, and lists the information in any order that you wish.
The following data is available:
VOR: Identifier, frequency, radial form, distance to nearest VOR
2 VOR's: Same data for two nearest VOR's
NDB: Identifier, frequency, bearing to, distance to nearest NDB
2 NDB: Same data for two nearest NDB's
Airport: Match requirements: Identifier, bearing to, distance to nearest airport which matches your requirements
2 Airport: Match Requirements: Same data for two nearest airports that match your requirements
Airport: Any in file: same data for nearest airport (any)
2 Airport Any in file: same data for two nearest airports (any)
Next Waypoint: Identifier, bearing to, distance, time to next waypoint
Previous Waypoint: Identifier, distance since previous waypoint
Departure Point: Identifier, distance, time since departure
Destination Point: Identifier, bearing to, distance, time to destination
